When it came time to write today’s post, I had an odd (and very rare!) lack of ideas.
Until all of a sudden WHIZ BANG I remembered that this happy little blog had a BIRTHDAY! Over the weekend, Rosy Blu turned two!
What a lovely year it has been. I published my first ebook, relaunched my site with a new look and logo, and have laid the groundwork for my first online course (to be announced very soon!)
I once again celebrated with pie (naturally). This year, it was apple. But I massacred the crust, so no picture. But trust me, it was DELICIOUS.
Here are the 5 most popular posts from the last year:
- How to recover a bulletin board in 10 minutes
- Lemon drop sugar scrub
- Peanut butter banana chocolate smoothies + a handy tip for blending
- The incremental secret to making a huge household shift
- See what 10 minutes of cleaning can do (before & after pictures)
And here are 5 of my personal favorites:
- DIY Mulled Cider Spice Bags (Gift idea!)
- Life’s too short to be busy all the time
- I am not a minimalist.
- One effortless tip to save time, money and effort during spring cleaning
- 8 steps to a decadent home spa night
Also, I can’t exactly call this a favorite . . . and it’s not on the most popular list . . . but it wins the award for most people on the street bringing it up, so it bears an honorable mention: the story of how our Christmas tree came down.
In closing: I’d like to give a big, juicy THANK YOU to you, dear reader, for spending your precious time with me. In case I don’t say it enough: I love connecting with you, and dreaming up ideas for things you might like. I adore the comments you leave, the emails you send, and just knowing that you sometimes have your eyes on this blog I created makes me giddy. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for being in my orbit, and for letting me be in yours!
Lots of love, and here’s to year three!
